...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING.

SNOW...MIXED WITH SOME SLEET...WILL BEGIN THURSDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

BEFORE ENDING THURSDAY EVENING.

AT THIS TIME...TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 4 TO 8 INCHES ACROSS THE WATCH AREA.

THERE REMAINS CONSIDERABLE UNCERTAINTY REGARDING THE EXACT TRACK AND SNOW AMOUNTS WITH THIS STORM...AND ANTICIPATED SNOW TOTALS MAY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED AS WE COME CLOSER TO THE BEGINNING OF THE EVENT.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW...SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL. CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS.

...WINTRY WEATHER EXPECTED THURSDAY...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK THROUGH THE OHIO VALLEY WEDNESDAY NIGHT..STRENGTHENING SOMEWHAT AS IS MOVES ACROSS THE DELMARVA REGION AND INTO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

SNOW...POSSIBLY MIXED WITH SOME SLEET...WILL BEGIN THURSDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

BEFORE ENDING THURSDAY EVENING. AT THIS TIME...

TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 4 TO 6 INCHES ACROSS THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY AND SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT.

THERE REMAINS CONSIDERABLE UNCERTAINTY REGARDING THE EXACT TRACK AND SNOW AMOUNTS WITH THIS STORM...

I' m kind of tired of the snow. If it affects school, then it is good. But with my school, its doubttful it will.

EST THUR NIGHT.

THE NATL WEATHER SVC IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM

WARNING.WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THUR TO MIDNIGHT EST

THURSDAY NIGHT. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

SNOW.MIXED WITH SOME SLEET AT THE ONSET.WILL BEGIN THURSDAY

MORNING & CONTINUE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.BEFORE ENDING

THURSDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS FORECAST TO FALL IN THE

AFTERNOON. AT THIS TIME.TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO

RANGE FROM 5 TO 7 INCHES ACROSS THE WARNING AREA.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE

EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR

IMPOSSIBLE.

Atlest you guys at the county get to stay in a nice warm building and watch tv if it's a slow day, I have to stay in a ambulance all day and watch how stupid people really are when the white stuff falls.... :blink::blink::D

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST TONIGHT. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

A MIXTURE OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING HOURS. STORM TOTAL SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS ARE NOW EXPECTED TO RANGE BETWEEN 1 AND 4 INCHES.

TRAVEL WILL LIKELY BE TREACHEROUS DURING THE EVENING RUSH HOUR WITH SOME ICING EXPECTED.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
