Description: Reported heavy fire in mechanic's garage/shop in firehouse. Fire reported to originate/involve in engine compartment of Car 2442, a later model Chevrolet Suburban Command Vehicle that was inside the bay at the time. Utility 34, a Ford F-350 with a utility body, was located behind Car 2442 vehicle in the single width bay. Bay is behind firehouse around side, one level down and separate from bays housing front line apparatus.
