  1. Thanks for the correction. I don't know much about sirens!
  2. Looks like Engine 10 has one on their 2014 E-1 pumper.
  3. Members of Engine 14 training with their new rig today. This rig can flow some serious water!
  4. Actually, it is the 2nd 2000 gpm pumper for the City of Newark. This 1999 ALF 2000 gpm pumper, which was originally used as a loaner by the City was purchased used in 2009, served at Engine 27, was destroyed in SuperStorm Sandy.
  5. Typhoon X Urban Foam Pumper. Q-Max 2000 gpm pump. 1030 gallon L shaped water tank. 250 gallon Foam tank. Williams Hot-Shot II 150 Foam system. This rig was bought through a Port Authority grant, hence the large foam capability.
  6. There is a slide out tray to stand on, but being tall would be a big help!
  7. Not only do you have to have a college degree to operate the pump, you have to be over six feet tall to reach the relief valve! lol
  8. New Foam pumper for Engine 14 in Newark. This rig was bought thru a grant with the NFD paying 25%. Pictures were taken Wildwood this past weekend, the rig will enter service in a few weeks. Engine 14's current 2003 E-1 pumper will be re-painted, re-furbished and assigned to Engine 18.
