Hey Everyone! I know people were looking and asking for EMT-B classes for the fall and the one at IVAC is now open for Registration! They also offer a refresher program as well. The environment there is really nice and friendly and you have instructors that are friendly and know what they are teaching!

Just about to say the same thing you got Benny who teaches over in Irvington at their volunteer ambulance corp and his program starts near the beginning of September this is the site http://www.irvingtonems.com/ being someone who took the class there you have really good instructors who know what they are teaching and everyone is really friendly there, and you learn a lot too. You also have WCC, Phelps and New Ro.

Due to budget cuts Fleet Week will be cutting back on some of the activities that is usually held during this very popular event here in NY and other ports.

FDNY and DA Charles Hynes is trying to get a bill pass that would protect EMTs and Paramedics from assaults while they are on the job as well as making the punnishments much harsher rather then a misdemeanor

this has to be a joke....i thought medics were suppose to help people and not be punished for it...i think they should be worrying about other things rather then this; such as their money issues......
