Just saw the new Interceptor in Somers, looks nice. Plate readers on the trunk and only 1 spot light for some reason, new ones always seem to have one on each side.

Since this is my first day of retirement after 20 years @ 60 let me tell you our protocols. EMS dispatch: no answer dispatch again 3 min later. No answer after 2 more min. dispatch again and dispatch mutual aid. Fire: after initial dispatch if no answer after 5 min. dispatch again. If no answer (and it has happened) dispatch again and dispatch mutual aid. Mutual aid run cards have been set up by both ems and fire agencies for their districts. Barry I understand what your saying if dept. x crashes, but what if I don't send anybody to the call in a TIMELY manor! The cad prompts us on all re-dispatchs. The buck does not stop @ 60 Control. It is up to each department whether volunteer or career to cover your calls. The cad will prompt us for the city of New Rochelle or Bedford EMS in the same manor. We run with NYS DOH protocols for ems and NFPA for fire. If you can't cover your call's start thinking about joining forces with your neighbor who is covering the call! Thanx for all you do and please stay safe!
Enjoy retirement Marty! thanks for all the information!!

Maybe have a strip or two of spikes on every exit ramp so when the drivers attempt to enter, they'll be stopped. Only the ones who purposely do it will go around it, and that's not many of them. Maybe even set up a system to lower them if emergency services needs access.
Just a thought, it would probably cost a good amount though.

Why is the traffic bar cut out bigger than the actual bar? Only thing i can think of is maybe additional emergency lights on each side of it.. Seems to be a lot of extra room...
Just wondering...Thanks for all updated shots

Fairview, Hartsdale, Somers, Dobbs Ferry, Ossining (by OPD) White Plains, North White Plains, Empress. Most likely a couple more.
Care1 and Transcare operate in Westchester but last time I checked their dispatchers were in a different county.

Not sure if answered already, but is this replacing anything or is it just an addition?
Looks awesome as usual, lol.
Thanks for all the photos!

I see them all the time with traffic stops all over 684. Based on what I've heard, the cops like them and are staying in disguise..This is just the latest effort to CITE distracted drivers.
Hope they keep serving NYSP well.

Very nice shots... especially since it's one of your first times using the camera. I got my Rebel about 2 years ago and it has amazed me because of the potential it has in creating a really nice shot. Best of luck with it, you're off to a very good start.

Awesome Chief... Congrats!

Sad, but INCREDIBLE video. I follow them on Facebook and the amount of work they put in to make sure he got a very big welcome home was amazing. He has some true co-workers, family and friends.
Welcome Home Bill!

Anyone know if Mt Kiscos new seagrave will be in there annual parade friday night?
According to the capt, it's arriving in Mt Kisco mid to late August. So your answer would be no, it won't be in the parade.
