  2. It truly is amazing how News 12 (nominated for 25 NY Emmy Awards) has been SOOOOOOOO one sided on this story. From what I have viewed there has been NO stories about the PO Hess or any other PO's involved. No story how he had a severe leg injury, nothing! Just spining the truth to make the perp the vic.....
  3. One of the most thrilling times I had when I volunteered in Eatchester was being fortunate enough to have responded in R-5 on storm duty. It was a great rig even though there was little to no room in the cab. After it left Eastchester it was turned over to Westchester County be become a trench rescue vehicle I believe. This never came to reality and I believe(could be wrong)that the county sold it for $75.00 not being able to run.
  4. Hey Capt Rescue 5... Shouldn't that say Eastchester on the side...wishfull thining!! lol !
  5. "Well done my good and faithfull servent" May St. Michael lead you home to God and watch over your loved ones left behind. My prayers to the PPD and the officers family and friends!
  6. SO true Capt. Being in the classroom I can tell you first hand that the youth of America feel that there are NO consequenses to their actions. If the dear darlings get into trouble its the parents to the rescue. They put all kinds of pressure on administration who always buckles and the kid then gets away with it. In my day if I got in trouble I was more afraid of going home then going to the principals office. Unfortunatly, the youth of America are not held accountable for their actions. Always the other guys falt. It's a sad road they are going down!
  7. Beautifull truck! Best of luck to Pleasantville with it!
  8. " Let the little children come to me" She is in the arms of the angels. Rest easy little one
  9. Good Morning America had Henry's parents on Friday morning. THEY stated that they do not want this to be about race! They just want all the facts truthfully so they can put this horrible occurance in prespective and try as a family to get through it. The father said he does not want people coming forward with half truth's, lies etc. He just wants the truth period. However, the media has twisted and turned this horrible event. Its been days and days of media coverage. Now,God forbid if officer Hess was killed in the line last Sunday night there would have been coverage up to the day of the funneral and then the next day we all would have heard crickets on the story on the news. The media needs to stop reporting so the people who actualy know how to do a thourough and proper investigation can do there jobs and then lets all hear the true facts and not all this "possibilities".
  10. Rest easy brothers! Job well done.
  11. It was the second day of school and i had just started teaching. I was sitting in the classroom on a free period and one of the deans came in a said that a plane had hit the WTC. I thought it was a small Cesna or something. it was not until i looked on the net that isaw the amount of damage to the building and knew it was no Cesna that hit the building. My FD phone started to ring off the hook and I know i would never, ever forget that morning!
  12. Eastchester over 3000 alarms this year!

  14. As for the nicest house in the county I would say it would be between Rye "Milton Hilton" and Purchase F.D. The nicest old house I have to say is my house, Eastchester's station 4 Union Corners Engine & Hose Co. 4 ( Engine 30) Its old and a bit beaten up but it has a lot of charm!
  15. Can anyone give directions to Eisenhower Park?
