2005 Run Totals.......

Just wondering if anyone has their department's year end totals for 2005. How many runs total and which engine/truck company was their busiest. I don't know Yonkers totals yet but I'm sure we'll have them soon. Thanks. Joe

Yorktown FD fell short of 600 by 4 runs. Set a new record for our dept I belive . This year however has started off to an extreamly slow start...avg 1 call every 3 days.

City of Stamford, CT Fire Rescue Dept. 2005 run totals:

total incidents:7459 runs

busiest engine: Engine 1 2203 runs

busiest truck:Tower 1 1136 runs

Rescue 1: 1600 runs

Deputy Chief: 1531 runs

Pleasantville had 368 runs this year. About the same as last year

The grand total for Buchanan was 146 alarms for the year 2005. Believe it or not, that was a record-breaker for the department, most alarms in the departments history!

Congrats to our Chief, Jerry Andrews, for having the most alarms and without any major incidents and no firefighter injuries!

Off the top of my head, i would hve to say that Rescue-26 was the busiest rig for 2005, only because it responds to EVERY alarm in the Village.

516 calls for Croton Falls FD. Definitely set the record for us, the previous record was 503 calls in 2003. We don't run an ambulance (NSVAC covers) but we back them up on just about all EMS realtd incidents, which amounted to the majority of calls. Also quite a few PIAAs as well.

im the captain of rescue. im not sure what we ran for this year yet. we do are totals from march to march along with our elections. but for the last 6 years while ive have been doing the reports weve ended up usally high 600's to low 700's for calls. and we dont do any ems.were a busy company for a volunteer rescue to run 700 calls.

I can try to find out that info, but I believe that number was given without the ems calls added. Will check in due time.

Hopewell Hose, East Fishkill Company 1 up here in Dutchess County, ran to 1036 calls in 2005, close to our count of 1057 in '04. I will post totals for the entire East Fishkill Fire District when I get them!
