There were photos of the work in progress on Pal Park's rig posted on Ed's Facebook "fan page".  It looks great!   Can't wait to see it all finished.   Hardyston Township's new Rosenbauer is coming in not lettered.   Wonder if that's Ed's next blank canvas (once he finishes Upper Saddle River, that is)?

Lakeside Engine 533 went to it's new home in Greeley, PA over the weekend.   Guess now we know which company is getting the new engine.   Don't know what it's going to be yet.

Orange Lake and Coldenham have recently taken delivery of their new apparatus, a KME pumper and Spartan ERV mid-mount platform, respectively.   Haven't seen anything on Winona Lake's engine yet.   Think both were ordered at the same time?   Howells should be receiving their new Seagrave engine soon.

Woodbury FD in Orange County will be ordering a Pierce Arrow XT rescue-pumper 2000 GPM/750/20B to replace Engine 502, a 1994 Pierce Lance.

Why did they say Middletown's tiller got "scrapped"?   It is still very much alive and well (privately owned).....and they still don't have enough manpower to keep all seven rigs in service 24/7, but that's another story for another time.  
 
How hard would it have been to put a picture of the actual Kingston rig that's being replaced, rather than a stock photo of an unmarked Philadelphia rig?    Gotta love the media.

That's how it was worded in the legal notice.   Could very well be for that purpose, but a member of the company told me it will be a light rescue.   The one they got a couple of years back didn't work out well.....all sorts of issues with it.

Yes, the Tender is privately owned in California.   

There are enough people who will complain about an engine being sent to an out of town event, even if it's not the first due piece and there's plenty of manpower left behind.
