  2. Thank you Seth!

This is the link to my IMDb profile: http://www.imdb.me/robcasasanta

If you blinked watching Law & Order SVU you would have missed me. lol.

It's something to cross off the "Bucket List"

The original scene where I entered the room was cut and you could only see me

for a second in the crowd. Hopefully the February 5th Law & Order SVU episode I

am in again I will have more camera time. At least noticeable.

I am background so usually shots are quick.

I do have some other shows coming up on ID Investigation Discovery.

    I will advise on air dates....Spring 2014.

In the fall I am in a movie called Back In The Day with Danny Glover and Shannen Doherty.

COMING SOON! You will see my 1974 Mack CF (Engine 626) in the movie Non-Stop w/ Liam Neeson. It's due out the end of February. I got to drive it in the movie. Had so much fun and

met a lot of very cool people.

    Here are some photos:

Lettering was removed after the movie shoot.

I was told SLOKKVILID is Fire Department in Icelandic.

    THANKS!

  3. Saint Francis Hospital - Poughkeepsie, NY

    Debt: $50 million

When Art Nizza came on board in August as Saint Francis Hospital’s chief executive officer, he was aware the Poughkeepsie hospital had problems implementing its new computerized billing system.

The way the hospital had been using the new system had created what administrators believed was a financial “blip,” he said.

What was not clear to anyone was that the blip had metastasized, and had set into motion an unrecoverable cascade of financial shortfalls that ultimately led the hospital to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Tuesday.

LaGrange-based Health Quest has announced its intention to acquire Town of Poughkeepsie’s Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers for $40 million after it emerges from bankruptcy protection.

  4. 911 calls (Landline) in Somers go to State Police "TMC" in Hawthorne.

911 calls (Cell) in Somers also go to State Police "TMC" in Hawthorne

however some cell phone calls close to the district line (i.e. West Hill of Heritage Hills) are sometimes

    routed to Putnam County 911.

State Police Somers and Somers Town Police do not have a dispatcher at the station.

Is 60-Control doing the initial dispatch or all communications?

  5. Self-Help Groups for Emergency Services

If you’re trying to stop drinking, peer support groups can be an invaluable source of guidance, assistance, and encouragement. Groups are very helpful, not only in maintaining sobriety, but also as a safe place to get support and discuss challenges.

Connecting with others who know first-hand what you’re going through can help reduce feelings of isolation, fear, and hopelessness. Staying motivated and positive is much easier when you have others you can turn to and lean on to help you.

We have available to us Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings at various locations worldwide but... What if an addiction problem isn't the issue? Maybe you just want to discuss a call, incident or something is bothering you.......

Perhaps the Firehouse or Ambulance Corps isn't a place you feel comfortable chatting.....

Could a meeting like this make a MOS feel better?

Would YOU share a story or help someone just by listening?

This is NOT to replace the interventions by Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) or Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) that we call upon after a death or bad incident more so just a place to go and chat with fellow Police Officers, Firefighters, EMT's, Paramedics and Dispatchers.

    FEEDBACK IS MUCH APPRECIATED

  6. Jersey City is planning to switch ambulance providers after 130 years with Jersey City Medical Center. Pending approval, the city will award a contract to for-profit CarePoint Health and Bayonne-based McCabe Ambulance.

The new three-year pact, if approved by the city council next week, would bring in $2.6 million for the city annually, officials said in announcing the change.

  7. Las Vegas police officers were out in force delivering Thanksgiving dinners to families in need.

What a nice thing to do for a community. This is a great idea for Police, Fire and EMS.

Amazing opportunity for positive public relations and most important helping people

    who are in need.

Any local departments do stuff like this?

  9. The last thing on my mind was to dominate anyone. lol.

This is not about any type of agenda who has more "likes" or members

(10 years online and over 7,000 members) but that is not the point.

I set this up as a convenience to our members to give Incident Alerts on Facebook a try.

Feel free to join the group and post if you like.

Yes, we might be a little delayed in starting this up but we are and we shall see

    how it works out.

    THANK YOU! :D
