Amazing opportunity for positive public relations and most important helping people

This is not about any type of agenda who has more "likes" or members
(10 years online and over 7,000 members) but that is not the point.

Command Vehicle to Peekskill Police

Legislator John Testa was joined by his colleagues on the Board of Legislators (BOL) in passing an Inter Municipal Agreement (IMA) to provide a "Mobile Interoperable Commend Vehicle" to the City of Peekskill. The IMA was approved by a unanimous 17-0 vote at the regular meeting of the Board of Legislators on Tuesday November 12, 2013.

I was contacted back in August by a Movie Prop company about my Yellow Mack.
At first I really thought it was a prank.
The rep came up to look at the rig and he loved it. He took photos
and called me a couple days later saying they wanted to use the rig.
To my surprise I was also told that I was cast in the movie as an
extra and I would be driving the truck. COOL!
One to cross off the Bucket List! Drive a Fire Truck in a movie. lol
I really can't get into the actual scene due to legal reasons but Engine 626 has some camera time
and maybe myself included. Depends on how close up the shot is.

For many years the City of Peekskill had Gamewell Fire Alarm Boxes including
Gamewell Tape Registers and Gong Bells in every Firehouse that would tap out the
rounds when a box when pulled.
We also had Gamewell Diaphone Horns. One was on top of the NYS Armory on Washington St.
and the other on top of the Peekskill Fire Patrol on Highland Ave.
The system was taken out of service in the mid 1990's.
I have a large collection of Gamewell Fire Alarm Boxes, a Bell and a Tape Register.
Some of my boxes date back to the late 1880's (Yes, I said 1880's) I have a lot of
newer ones too 1980's and 1990's.
Any fans on here of Gamewell Fire Alarm Boxes?
