Took the class today.. Great class, great instructors from Fireground Tech.. Worth every penny.. The left side bag they supply is better than the Petzl bag.. Look for the left side bag on the site in the near future...

I spoke with Larry Cohen of Fireground Technologies and he told me that Fireground Tech offers a left side bag.. The bag is not a Petzl bag but it is better from what he told me..

A question about the EXO.. My turnout pants open on the right, but I've read that the EXO needs a left side opening harness.. Has there been a modification to the system yet to allow it to be carried on the left instead of right?

Looks like the vehicle was well off before anyone noticed it was burning.. It takes a little while for an entire vehicle to completely burn..

Lets ignore the cause of the accident.. Anyone else notice a lack of PPE? Eye protection? Although they do have a hoseline in place, no SCBA though..

I never really have a problem with the radio shifting while crawling with SCBA on and properly buckled..

I wear mine under my coat.. I drape the mic over the collar and dont have to worry about it hanging where I cant reach it.. Its also harder to get it caught up on something when it is underneath the coat..
