  4. This is exactly why I still have Nextel. I use the Direct Connect every day, and, by comparison, the phone MUCH,MUCH less.

  18. Let's all post in this thread our appreciation for the job that our Dispatchers do. Often times they are taken for granted, or even at times criticized when something goes wrong. Without the dilligent and dedicated people on the other end of the radio, we could often find ourselves stuck with noone to call for help. I would like to say a big thank you to our dispatchers everywhere. Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication!!!!!!!!!

  20. I use a Radio Shack PRO97 with a Diamond RH77CA antenna. I downloaded everything from radioreference.com, and then used the cable from RAD SHACK to load it into the scanner, so I would go with the info from radref.
