I have been hearing what sounds like radio shop personnel talking on the trunked frequencies. the number that comes up on my scanner is 37104??????? Anyone have any ideas???? input????

Yes, but everything I hear is indicitive of testing being done by radio techs. Sounds like they are adding something. They turn off channel 2, or whaever, sothey can switch it?????

BUT, WCDES636, in my department, not all of our members are willing to pay for text messages on their cell phones, and some have "company isued units" through their empoyers, and are not allowed to use the text feature on their phones. It costs the owner of the individual phone for every text message. Using the radio works well. I personally like to use both. But as as previously stated in this thread, a call to 60 control will determine whether the fequency is free for an announcement. I have made many such calls myself.

Its all well and fine to say the town should give tax relief, but I have 2 problems with that, 1) I can't afford to even rent in "my town", and 2) I sure as hell can't afford to own property in it either. I live in a rented aprtment in another town. So either way, the property tax deal does me no good, but the Stat Income tax credit serves to help me and many other renters who for whatever the reasons must rent rather than own.
