Took the plunge this morning and ordered the MLB Extra Innings package from Comcast for $179. When I was up in Myrtle Beach, I had a sat-dish and was able to get every Yankee game. So now down here in Fla, this seems like the best option, being as I already have Comcast bundled services.
Anybody have MLB Extra Innings? If so, what do you think of it....
Thanks in advance and Happy Easter.

I don't know about Canada but here in my little corner of the world the police were doing extrications before most fire departments. Only a small number of fire departments had hydraulic tools at the time.
Times have changed and it has swung the other way but there are still a lot of places where the police perform extrications.
Thank you. I was just wondering. The same as I see a lot of fire departments in the states with blue lights in their light bars and on the front grills.
The only ones up here allowed blue lights in them are Police cars.

Don't the Police Departments have enough to do without doing extrications. I don't think a single Canadian Police force does this, it is all handled by the fire service.

I am wondering if anyone on here has heard/read the rumor from another site about Pierce taking over Singer Fire as a manufact\urer run operation for the foreseeable future.

And everyone is forgetting the executive chefs that cook our meals and the Molly Maid cleaning crew that keeps the fire stations sparkling clean !!!!
I do my own cooking, clean my own dishes, clean the office floors, dust counters and equipment and clean the windows. No one does my chores for me but me.
It is a case of YOUR MOTHER DOESN'T LIVE HERE, SO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF NOONE ELSE WILL.

I work a 24 hour shift and I pay for my own meals.

It is kinda cute. It will wear on you just like the Dodge Sprinter.

I hate to see the paper work to explain this one. Were they on an emergency run or cruising.

You should not be allowed to use the radio for anything but what you are profesionally supposed to use it for.
That is why all transmissions are recorded are recorded and if in court are used as evidence.
If yo are a proffessonal act like one.
That is coming from experience. I said the wrong thing once and had a written reprimand on my file.

I meant more in the terms of construction and maintainence of an engine, there's a lot more to fabricate, install, calibrate, etc. Like the pump, tank, pump valves and throws, gauges, and now electronic throtle controls and transmissions, etc. Most typically, a rescue is easier to fabricate but on the flip side, equipment, such as SCBA compressors, body design, etc can add to the complicated nature of the rescue. I just meant that's it's far more straightfoward to fabricate and mount a rescue body on a chasis then an engine. Plus, it's easier to make changes on where you're going to put things on a rescue during the final stages then it is an engine.Izzy, I know Gowans Knight is busy, and has had a tough time finding qualified welders and mechanics in recent years. It's none of my business, and I don't know much about theirs, but I'm sure that they could expand just a little more without losing quality. They build a great product, and I like to see local builders flourish-they could stay small, but with a little investment........ Has their quality gone down in recent years, or customer service??
SVI is one of the leaders in building rescue trucks, but is begining to diversify, recently building a pumper for Maui (HI).
Who is the local SVI dealer anyways?
