  1. Livingston Manor (Sullivan) recently took delivery of a Freightliner/Pierce tanker. Wurtsboro (Sullivan) will soon take delivery of a Pierce Quantum pumper (will be on display at FDIC).
  2. Politicians and the media have these people convinced that we are the enemy and as was stated a lot of them are the cheapest people you can come across.
  3. I posted that based on information that I had found here (presumably from) a member of CFD. No idea if a bid was ever awarded.
  4. Nice. Price?
  5. The original is bigger, it says "Medical Operations" http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y173/FDNY1075/2014/DSC_3362_zps18da6f77.jpg~original
  6. Don't know why it did that, maybe because I edited the title of the album. Anyway, they should work now.
  7. Not the bomb squad but NYPD also recently took delivery of this 2014 Sartin Services Medical Ambulance Bus
  8. Florida does reciprocity for all levels of NREMT & I believe they also accept any other state's certification (but I could be wrong).

  10. Very tight to get in and out of their quarters. They also recently received a Freightliner/LDV mobile command center that is much larger. I don't know where it is kept.
  11. Not NYC but we have them on hand in the Albany area. AFD has two (one in each of the BC cars), Albany County Sheriff's EMS unit has one and Colonie EMS have one or more in their TSU. Cyanide monitoring is done by assessment for symptoms of poisoning and by CO measurement with Rad57 or LP15. If we need them we also have the NYANG with stockpile and a US Gov't strategic stockpile in Voorheesville.
  12. Think what you guys want but there are plenty of 20+ year old KMEs roaming the streets of Philly and the companies there are just as busy and the streets can be just as rough.
  13. Nothing looks off, it is legit. Photo credit probably goes to Dan Decher but I'm not certain.
  14. These are for multiple units, I believe there will be 4 new no frills foam tankers and more than one ATRV.
  15. Goshen tanker bid awarded to Pierce, Kenworth/Pierce 1250/3000 tanker with delivery in late summer/fall.
  16. I've used the Boston Leather radio strap for years in both the Fire Department and EMS. I don't feel that it gets in the way, in fact, I don't like to carry a radio without it now.
  17. Wow, interesting
