we have cancelled our hotel rooms for tonight, and see tomorrow about coming out- we may get there, but coming home in the storm isn't something we're looking forward to

it's our 1st parade in 20 something years, should be fun. Fire police will be out to redirect everyone to where they need to go.

Thank you for all that came out and supported the explorer posts, we also had 2 ems explorer posts there who spend all day Sat running a Rehab station and providing ems coverage for the event. Members from Putnam Lake also helped on Sat, and lunch was provided by Outback, Danbury. And for those of you who know me- Sun + lack of sleep= crankiness, so all those who know that and came out anyway to help I thank you! Look foward to seeing all those next year. For those Ossining explorers who ventured up for the 1st year- was nice to see you and hope to see you next year, and go figure- you win best overall w/ explorers too!

There are still some openings in the explorer weekend aug 2nd and 3rd. Sat will be 5 training evolutions,and camping sun will be competitions, any one interested please email asap thanks, registration closes july 15

Kevin lost his leg in an off duty motorcycle accident the beginning of May. 10-13 Benefit will be at the Lake Carmel FD Sat June 14 2pm-7pm. $20 includes 2 drinks/food and door prizes there will also be door prizes, shirts, games, raffles and a dunk tank.
