A police cruiser dashcam taped a deadly house explosion in Wisconsin on Saturday night.

Officer Ben Henrich of the Prescott Police Department tried to rescue the driver of a pickup truck after she crashed into a house.

The truck struck a natural gas line and three minutes later the house exploded, killing the driver and injuring the officer.

another fine example of why you can't be complacent on these gas calls! a tragic loss for all involved.

Another good reason all police cars should have dash cams too.

Here's a question - does anyone have dash cams (or similar) on apparatus, chief's cars, etc., other than like on a command post truck?

One local agency that will remain nameless has DriveCam cameras. Some of the videos are quite entertaining. Check out http://drivecam.com/ for samples. smile.gif

I know of two NYC ambulance companies that use driver cams, they have been useful in proving liability, or lack there of.

Its funny, I was shown a video from an EMS agency with drive cams. Some poor Medic turned webmaster turned ff was running down the street chasing his tire. WAS, any chance you could help with some videos?
