IBM East Fishkill HAZMAT?

I just heard IBM Gate 5 has a graphite spill. Any reason they wouldnt tone out East Fishkill. Im sure IBM has a Hazmat Team im just wondering

Graphite in and of itself is not a hazardous substance. Chronic exposure can cause cancer.

Dust can be an inhalation or ingestion hazard.

If this incident's a powder spill in the road, it can be very slippery!

Its just a form of Carbon. No more of a big deal than a Coal spill.

IBM Emergency Control are all Haz Mat Technicians, if I am not mistaken!! East Fishkill FD does not have a HazMat team, and would only be able to operate (officially) in a defensive mode, i.e. shut down the Gate/set up a perimeter so that no one can get too close to it.
