High-Visibilty Makes It To The Crown Vic

6 posts in this topic

First time I've seen high-visiblity striping on a Crown Vic Police Interceptor.

Kudos to this agency for this progressive move!

I am pretty sure they have the clear striping.

I am pretty sure they have the clear striping.

It's white scotchlite on the WCPD cars, rear bumpers. It's showing up on more vehicles around here too. SP and our (Croton) PD have put 1" or 3/4" gold stripes across the bottom of the trunk lid to help with their visibility.

I think it is a great idea for visibility. I was down at Ruscon today picking up one of our engines and I saw the Town of Mamaroneck's Engine 51 and that has it on the back of the rig. Looks very good.
