3rd Alarm City of Poughkeepsie

1st alarm 2033 hrs. for a working structure fire with reported people trapped at 32 S.White St.

Moments later Car 10 reports working fire and transmits a 10-75 signal.

At 2042 hrs. a 2nd alarm is transmitted. An interior attack was initiated as well as a primary search for victims. All

Members were pulled out and an offensive operation was started. As soon as the main fire was knocked down crews

re-entered the building and once again attacked the remaining fire and did a secondary search. No victims were found

and no firefighter injuries.

nice shots.

One thing I noticed in the pictures is the "For Rent" sign on the front lawn. Makes me wonder what the economy is going to do for the fire service.

Sure made the night go by in City 911......of course the rollover on the Arterial, the 2 DWI's, the multiple shots fired, and the mutual aid companies running jobs helped too!

"Abandon Ship" was a CLASSIC!

Nice work guy's......... Here are a few of mine........ Due to the commute, I usually can only make overhaul :( They left me a little fire...... And yes, the cool,calm, and collected "Everybody abandon ship" transmission was classic...... How about posting a sound bite.........

Occasionaly...I get to have some fun...this was even on OT! :P

Awesome recording. Thanks for sharing. I lost my City 911 in my bedroom, doesn"t always come in on the scanner. So do you have anymore calls on recordings???

About the audio - wasnt me! In fact.....I walk into work a few days ago....down the hall...and I hear my voice on the radio....2 police sergeants are listening to the fire! PUCKER!!!!!

I say - whats the matter???? Oh...nothing they say! Right!

I am glad to see it there, now I can sleep! :lol:
