Structure Fire in Amenia 10/26/08

Structure Fire on Route 22 in Amenia, 2 Story woodframe well involved upon arrival, dispatch also reported an elderly female trapped, the occupant was located outside the home safe upon arrival. Mutual Aid was received from Dover, Millerton, Wassaic and Sharon CT.

I guess he had something more important to do, the ladder was actually sunk in pretty good. I looked down and was like #@$@#%, of course once I got on the ladder it most likely sunk in the mud and ground another several inches.
