Now I hope the Firefighter that is taking up the whole left side in the last picture is getting his bottle changed out. It might just be a little hard to breath in there with out any air.

June 16, 1990, yeah I remember the choice was made to cut the walkway to save the rest of the building.

Thanks Mark I knew it was early 90's about 3 1/2 years into the company we (DOVER) also had a second structure fire at the same time. A trailer fire on Johnson rd.

I remember there was a second fire but not where, did you remember the civilian that took gear off your ladder and was walking around the scene and when asked what company he belonged to he said Wassaic, busted, arrested for impersonating a firefighter.

Yeah he was very well known in the law enforcement circles and when I asked him what FD he belonged to he says "Wassaic", I guess he couldn't see the friggin White helmet on my head with Asst Chief on it 6" from his face. Bye Bye enjoy your ride in the police car!!!!!!, what a dumb !@#!%#

that is the only time that I can remember of someone getting arrested for impersonating a firefighter at a scene, better keep the police away from the station, seems we have alot of members, nope hold that thought, I better not finish, ouch!!!!!
