City of Poughkeepsie, Summer 2001 2 Alarm fire in a mexican restaraunt. Crappy pics taken with a disposable 35mm camer from an Alamo Ambulance.... this was the fire I was introduced to DC Decker.

I laughed when I saw this pic...a Roosevelt FF came to buff/watch...this was during the "Poughkeepsie Car Boot War Years"...a TON of buff's cars were booted, as was the City Manager's city car....what a riot!

back to the first job posted in Poughkeepsie....this was a stubborn fire, the entire house was PACKED full of crap, Collier's Mansion style. If you look at the windows, you can see debris piled up halfway - the entire house looked like this apparently.

FF on stairs with red lid is the sole volunteer, who I beleive may be City Car 5 now, correct me if I am wrong.

Someone refresh my memory, City of Poughkeepsie had an engine, lightbar under the chauffers window. And a really strange sounding mechanical siren. Reminded me of the sirens they used for Backdraft. I remember seeing it on the arterial on 44/55 and it was making a left turn. This was 1991. Any help would be appreciated, but I'm going to take a stab and say it was an E-One.
