Millbrook 49-31: Delivered 2/19/2010

22 posts in this topic

Millbrook's new tanker 49-31 was delivered Friday 2/19/10. Its a Spartan/Smeal: 2000 GPM Pump, 2500 Gallon Booster Tank, hydraulic racks for the suction and port-a-tank, 3 -10" dumps with rear being electric. It was cloudy when I shot and as it figures as soon as we finished the sun came out.

And an added bonus they brought out their 1930 Seagraves which returned recently from a total frame off restoration.

That Seagrave is gorgeous! I like the new tanker, I'm fond of that increasingly popular two door Spartan cab

I like the "wooden log" lettering and the art work very very nice. I never saw that cab before??.

Gotta love that old girl. Cant wait to see it when the finishing touches are in place. Good luck with both of those rigs.

I think the paint job on the old one is better.... Very nice fire engine, good luck with it.... Right now Croton is looking into a new Tanker, if someone from Millbrook is on here, can you possible send me the Specs.... and maybe a drawing ? any and all information is very usefull...

I would love to stop by some day and CHECK it out !!! Road Trip Chris and R585 ???

I will see what I can do about the specs for you guys. I am currently in school in CT but will be going home to see the tanker on Wednesday night. I will be home until at least friday evening if someone wants to hit me up to come see the tanker.

Also my D/C works for Metro North out of Croton-Harmon so he may be able to drop the specs off somewhere down that way.

No word on a wet down yet. I will keep you posted on that too.

Looks like a nice "PRACTICAL" rig. What is the overall length, and the seating capacity is it 2 seater or a bench type seat which would seat 3? If you don't mind me asking, whats the price range? Good luck with the new addition.

chances are Jim, being a custom cab, it is a 2 seater... but I am assuming, and I know what that means...

If you guys come up this way feel free to stop by our house as well, we are about 15 mins from Millbrook's station, our tanker was also built by Smeal too and is on an International Chassis and we can get you drawings and specs as well if needed.

Awesome looking tanker. Huge fan of the Spartan two door cab! I do not think anyone will miss the rig from behindtongue.gif. The Seagrave looks great as well!
