Cold Spring FD 13-2-1 Spy Shots

Cold Spring Fire took delivery of the new 13-2-1 yesterday from Smeal/Spartan . It will be going back for the mounting and lettering this week and should be in service as some point in April. It is a 2010 Smeal/Spartan 2500 gal Rescue Pumper.

2500 gals is alot for a rescue pumper, does it have any tanker features ? .... ( dump chutes, etc. )

Nice looking rig and well overdue for Cold Spring.

They have a small firehouse & limited apparatus. I'm sure their apparatus committee took all of this into consideration. Looks as if they built this rig to be multi-functional to meet their needs.

Nice! I don't thinks its gonna break any land speed records going up main st though. I'll have to take a trip down there and have my Uncle show me the rig when it gets back.

As mentioned, it is going back to the dealer for some mounting and finsihing touches. Once those are done, I'm sure compartment and equipment shots will be posted.
