Pine Plains - Rollover tractor trailer accident

Photos of a rollover tractor trailer accident early this morning in pine plains. DCSO reported with entrapment upon arrival and requested fire and ems to scene. pine plains command requested milan fire dept to the scene with it's rescue for its air bags. An extended and complex extrication followed to free the trapped driver. A helicopter was requested and landed at the pine plains high school. the driver was extricated after an extended time and taken to the awaiting chopper. An excellent job done by all at the scene. a true team effort between multiple agencies at the scene that resulted in a successful rescue photo credit to Ethan McGhee pine plains fd.

Nice photos. Looks like a good job done by all. The damage to the cab is incredible, I have seen Tractor Trailers roll but never with that much damage. What was it hauling?

Amazing accident and photos. It appears the cab came completely off the frame. I've never seen that before.

extrication took longer than desired, but by seeing the photos, i'm sure you understand why.

No complaints whatsoever from me, everything went great!

As one of the responders on this call I didn't expect to find what we found on arrival with the heavy entrapment and stabilization that was required I have to say what a job well done by all who were there the team work and communication was unbelievable alote of equipment in operation you don't relies what you have taken off the truck until clean up comes around lol thanks again to all who responded

I wasn't there but my boss said he had pull the frame and trailor away from the dislodged cab so they could finish the cut he moved it about a foot

the towing company was great that morning. the towing company wrecker assisted in stabilization of the truck and tank. and was used in a combined effort worker with the extrication team to move the truck as the team performed spreading of the remainder of the cab . a great combined effort between rescue workers and the towing company.

Stabilization of the cab was being stabilized by a resce strut system and chain to keep the remainder of the cab from shifting and the tank was being stabilized by air bags, a seperate rescue strut setup and wooden block cribbing. a great job by both pine plains,milan and wrecker crew in stabilizing that truck.
