Chassie is to be completed Friday and shipped from Spartan to Smeal. No Pics yet. Delivery should be end of march or early april

Chief - Thanks for the update. What NRFD company is scheduled to get this new rig (with presumable the old rig going into the spare pool). Also, is this Spartan/Smeal Engine similiar in nature (spec wise) to Yonkers new Engine 309?

Correct either 21 or 23. the Master Mechanic will determine that just prior to delivery.

The current unit will become a spare. Most likely Engine 17.

I do not know how it compares to the new YFD unit, I did not read that spec.

No problem, it would not help. I just need Chiefs to retire, the council is not a major consideration in this, place on the list is.
