x635's Quick Trip To The Dallas-Fort Worth Area (With Apparatus Photos)

11 posts in this topic

Yesterday, I traveled to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to attend the Avalance Tour featuring Art Of Dying, Halestorm, Skillet, Theory Of A Deadman, and Stone Sour at the Verizon Theater. The best concert I've ever been to. I managed to get some fire apparatus photos before the show, and figured I'd share them with you.

Thanks to Pete (TaskForce7) and Ben for the help........

First up, North Richland Hill's new 2011 KME Predator:

Seth,

It looks like you did pretty well in the short time you were up here. Nice job on the photos! Did you see a bunch of guys from the other board (FE.net) are coming to D/FW for a photo shoot tour?

Thanks Pete. It was the first time I did not hit any traffic or congestion in the metroplex whatsoever. I saw that those guys are coming down...wish I had known....not like I have that much free time though. But I like shooting by myself and not have a concrete itinerary more anyways.

Nice shots! When did FW Truck 2 get their ALF? I remember for a long time they had a rear-mount.

Back in 2005. It's a 100' midmount aerial tower.

Oops, forgot this photo. As you can see, the back of Plano's Truck 1 is barely visible.

Really!!! An In-n-out coming to Texas? I hope they move further East like near Chicago :D

I will take one in NY please...A double double animal style with well fires and a shake before catching a train in GCT would make my day every day.....
