Weather Conditions: Hot, humid, storms

Description Of Incident: Fire in the walls of a house from a lightning strike. Call originally came as in inside electrical problem. Upon arrival at the scene residents were reporting heavy smoke in a basement apartment. Crews found heavy smoke throughout the basement and used the thermal imaging camera to locate fire in the basement roof and in the walls with extension to two neighboring apartments. Once the fire was located, the 10-75 was requested by Engine 122 and Ladder Tower 8 hit the hydrant and laid-in. The fire was knocked down roughly 30 minutes after that.
