Units Operating: Mount Vernon Fire Department: R2, E202, E203, E204, E205, E206, L61, L62, TL61, TL62; New Rochelle Fire Department: L12, E22 (relocated); Eastchester Fire Department: L15; Pelham Fire Department: E5; Fairview Fire Department: L1; Mount Vernon Police: Transcare: 32A1, 32M1; WCDEMS: Bat. 18; American Red Cross

Weather Conditions: Hot, Dry, Sunny

Description Of Incident: Working fire in a two-family home. Fire extended into a neighboring home at 33 East 8th Ave. Three alarm fire with all crews from Mount Vernon as well as numerous mutual aid departments. Six Mount Vernon FFs were treated for heat exhaustion. Two were transported to the hospital, one for heat exhaustion and one for an injury. Two residents were also treated for smoke inhalation.
