New Collapse units completed.

15 posts in this topic

The three new Ferrara Collapse units have been completed. From what I understand they will be assigned as follows.

Collapse 1 @ Ladder 25 (Rescue 1's Collapse unit)

Collapse 2 @ Ladder 132 (Rescue 2's Collapse unit)

Collapse 4 @ ? (Rescue 4's Collapse unit)

Rescue 3 will remain with tractor.

Rescue 5 is a Hazmat Tech unit. So as of now no Collapse.

I doubt that. The CADS system is already updated for RC04. I would presume it's either going to go in the current firehouse behind E-292, or over to either 136 Truck or 163 Truck. RC02 is quartered at L-132 in Brooklyn.

If the new ones go to RC1, RC2, and RC4, then that leaves the TT unit that R3 will keep, and that leaves the 1991 Mack MR/ALF that is running as Collapse Rescue 1 now......maybe they will use it as a spare, or maybe an SI collapse unit??? One never knows.....

It'll probably be kept as a spare.

I hope you are not trying to say that these should be NYPD units. Kelly hasn't taking over collapse yet, still FDNY's game..

And if the powers that be have any brains whatsoever, they will keep it that way.

One has to hope that not all of them are hooked up to a 24/7 Kool Aid IV.

Just a Joke.

The key word is YET.

He is a power hungry egomaniac. I'm sure he will try to snatch it from us.

I finally saw a better pic of one of the completed trucks on fdnytrucks.com. They look really good on a mack chassisand I like the led lights on them. The only thing I noticed which looked odd to me was on the rear wheel what looks to be almost a barrel looking item coming off what I belive is the center of the rim. Any idea what this is and why it's ont eh trucks
