Harrison cop shoots burglary suspect

A burglary suspect was shot by a Harrison police officer Wednesday night after cops stopped the car he was riding in with two other suspects, police said.

Daniel DiBiase, 55, of Poughquag was under police guard at Westchester Medical Center this morning, recovering from a single gunshot wound. DiBiase and two others are suspects in the Sept. 3 burglary of a town home that netted $500,000 worth of jewelry, police said. The trio have been under police surveillance since then.
