It happens because a simple rule isn't followed.....NEVER enter tracks if the road on the other side isn't clear enough for your entire vehicle! You can't rely on traffic moving out of the way before a train approaches.

Poor Planning im sure too! growing up i remember the train behind my house running by at the same time give or take 5 minutes everyday, actually it was supper time.
