Welcome to the 2013 recruitment for Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police Officers. The Port Authority is offering a new test to become a Port Authority Police Officer. Please take the time to read all of the following information before you apply.

This test is being conducted for candidates qualified for employment as a Port Authority Police Officer. The test will establish a 2013 Eligible Pool of qualified candidates who may be randomly selected, when future needs arise, to proceed through the remaining parts of the Police Officer Selection Process. Candidates interested in future employment as a Port Authority Police Officer must successfully qualify for the 2013 Eligible Pool by applying during this open enrollment period, and taking and passing the 2013 test. The 2007 Eligible Candidate List is currently decertified, and no more applicants will be drawn from this list.

Before you begin your application, it is important for you to read and understand the responsibilities, qualifications, and requirements of the Port Authority Police Officer Position, as well as the selection process and general requirements of the Police Academy.
