Description Of Incident: Engine 80 reporting responding to a reported fire on W. 139th St. between Hamilton Pl. and Amsterdam Ave. Engine 80 10-84(o/s) transmitting a 10-75(Working Fire) for Box 1584 for fire in a 7-story brick OMD. Battalion 16 10-84(o/s) reporting using All Hands and requesting 1 & 1 S/C on the 10-75(Working Fire). Heavy fire on the top floor and in the cockloft. 5th Alarm transmitted by Field Comm. 1. Numerous L/S/O's w/multiple tower ladder master streams in operation. Companies using defensive and offensive exterior and interior attacks. All hands working. All searches negative. Nineteen firefighters treated and transported by EMS for smoke inhalation.

16:51hrs. - Field Comm. 1(Car 4A) reporting companies beginning interior offensive attack w/multiple lines to the top floor. Field Comm. 1(Car 4A) requesting 2 additional Trucks S/C on the 4th Alarm for Box 1584.

16:57hrs. - Field Comm. 1 transmitting a 5th Alarm for Box 1584.

17:00hrs. - Field Comm. 1 reporting fire is in the "A"/"B" wing of the building. Primary searches underway. Fire is now P/W/H.

17:01hrs. - Manhattan Dispatch announcing Manhattan Fallback Step 3 implemented.

17:02hrs. - Field Comm. 1 reporting primary searches negative. Manhattan Dispatch announcing duration of incident is 1 hour, 15 minutes.

17:09hrs. - Field Comm. 1 requesting 2 additional Battalion Chiefs S/C on the 5th Alarm for Box 1584.

17:11hrs. - Field Comm. 1 requesting 2 additional Trucks S/C on the 5th Alarm for Box 1584.

17:48hrs. - Field Comm. 1 requesting 2 additional Trucks S/C on the 5th Alarm for Box 1584.

18:45hrs. - Field Comm. 1 reporting all searches negative. Fire is u/c.
