Orange, Dutchess and Putnam ALS Providers?

34 posts in this topic

We only use 35M1, 35M2, 35M3, & 35M4 for the CAD system. On the air they are referred to as Medic 1 or possibly Alamo Medic 1 or Putnam Medic 1. The 35 designation was given several years ago when there was both Alamo and Sloper. As EMS agencies were 31, 32, 33, & 34, Alamo became 35 and Sloper (R.I.P.) became 36. In answer to a previous post the Official designation should be 40-35M1 similar to the Official designation for 24-1-3 is 40-24-1-3

Off topic but an extra point Trivia question: In the Putnam County Radio Plan, who has the designation 37? Hint, It's not an EMS Agency.

Just a shot in the dark, County Medical Examiner?

I'd have to guess an agency that was formed AFTER the alamo/sloper numbering took place. Not sure when they were formed but I'm gonna guess the County Fire Police Squad.
