QuoteNew Trunked Radio System Cutover
After many months of discussions, information sharing, planning and testing, the Westchester County
Department of Emergency Services is excited to announce that we will be switching over to the new and
enhanced P25 Digital Trunk Radio system on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
On February 2nd, starting at 10:00 AM, we will begin the transition process of moving from the old
system to the new P25 digital system. By 12:00 PM, the entire “old” trunked radio system will be turned off, meaning any attempts to communicate on it will not work.
As a precautionary measure, we will also be monitoring conventional frequencies of 46.26, 46.06 and UCALL40 if necessary.MEMO WITH NEW TALKGROUPS (in PDF format):

I don't know if it's going to be a demo, as pictured, or custom built. The demo pictured in Hendrickson's post is very nicely equipped.
