I my area a "working fire" would indicate just that, didn't matter if it was a car, house, strip mall, dumspter (don't laugh, a 40 cubic yard dumpster was one of the hardest fires I ever fought), high rise. To me a sructure fire would mean a working fire in a my area would typically mean a 2.5 story wood frame structure. Any thing other then a 2.5 wfd would usually be get a description added...."a working fire on the 24 story of a concreate multi family dwelling". There really is no standard radio standard around here but people usually get the point across.
I call the added description a "size-up." There should be a size up for any fire...even the 2.5 story wood frame ones.

Never one to believe nonsense, but I truly am terrified that today is it! Just kidding. In all seriousness, the Mayan calendar did not take into effect Leap Years. So in terms of days, their calendar depicted the 12-21-2012 would have actually been a few months ago. Today simply shares the same numeric name, not the same same time, if that makes sense. Should be exciting to see what happens when the sun sets.....

Looking forward to seeing the new rig. Congrats!
Question...
What is the reasoning behind the 750 gallon tank on a first due apparatus? Seems the norm (whatever normal is) is 1000 gallons.
Best of luck, keep us posted!

Happened to be in the area at a work meeting. Got to the scene right after the 10-75 was called. Here are some pictures from my iPhone...sorry for the poor quality.
