  1. I have for sale two Whelen Single Talon Suction Cup Swivel Mounting Brackets.

    The first picture is the suction cup portion of the bracket. The second picture os the portion of the bracket that attaches to the light housing itself.

I my area a "working fire" would indicate just that, didn't matter if it was a car, house, strip mall, dumspter (don't laugh, a 40 cubic yard dumpster was one of the hardest fires I ever fought), high rise. To me a sructure fire would mean a working fire in a my area would typically mean a 2.5 story wood frame structure. Any thing other then a 2.5 wfd would usually be get a description added...."a working fire on the 24 story of a concreate multi family dwelling". There really is no standard radio standard around here but people usually get the point across.

    I call the added description a "size-up." There should be a size up for any fire...even the 2.5 story wood frame ones.

  3. Never one to believe nonsense, but I truly am terrified that today is it! Just kidding. In all seriousness, the Mayan calendar did not take into effect Leap Years. So in terms of days, their calendar depicted the 12-21-2012 would have actually been a few months ago. Today simply shares the same numeric name, not the same same time, if that makes sense. Should be exciting to see what happens when the sun sets..... :ph34r:

    1525 - Harrison dispatched to above address for reported chimney fire.

    1530 - Harrison re-dispatched for reported structure fire. Chief on scene with smoke from the eaves.

    1532 - Town of Mamaroneck FAST requested.

    1534 - Village of Mamaroneck, Engine 38 requested along with one Ladder from the City of Rye to standby in Harrison FD headquarters.

    1535 - C&O Zone 2 to landline.

    1537 - County Car 1 to landline.

    Description Of Incident: 81 year old male went missing Monday afternoon. Roughly 225 volunteers spent 15 hours searching the woods from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. Patient was located and transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital bye Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad.

    Description Of Incident: Working fire in a 2.5 story P/D. Heavy fire on the #2 floor and in the attic. Two residents were home at the time of the fire, both we able to evacuate the residence. Cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
