  10. First, before you connect make sure you begin the software installation. After that is done, it probably will prompt you to connect the radio to the computer (assuming it's a USB interface). After that the software *should* be self-explanatory. Radio Reference.com has a list of all the Dutchess County frequencies.
  11. Hell, even in the village some type of fast food, or restaurant would be nice. Waiting for the train? grab some food to go. Unless you want pizza there isnt really too many options around the train station.
  12. Line-Up @ 18:30 Step Off @ 19:00
  13. Sonic would be nice. Always see commercials on TV, but no Sonic's to be found I'd like to see more food choices along Rt 55 and Route 22. 22 has KFC in Pawling, and used to have a Burger King. I wouldn't mind seeing a Taco Bell or a Long John Silvers in that area.
  14. Weather isnt looking too good now.
  15. As always, great shots Bill

  20. I second everyones post above. Good luck to all the Alamo Employees. TransCare has said they are going to do somethings similar, they're going to be a seperate entity from the Brooklyn operation, so who knows. Granted, saying it and doing it are two different things, but give TransCare the benefit of the doubt. Once again, Best of luck to the Alamo EMS staff!!
  21. It was a great parade. Good turnout in all the departments that attended!
  22. If memory serves correct Transcare was 30k more than Alamo, but the towns had a bad experience with Alamo in the past, which is why TC was selected.
  23. Are you an owner of MLSS? or on the board? In regards to the NDP story, if the price is right, I'm sure ANY company would sell. Nothing is "never for sale". Not true Yes, Alamo is growing, and increasing services offered out of Northern Dutchess Hospital. TransCare however is gaining more turf in Dutchess County as is self-evident. As of now they hold Beekman, Millbrook, Pawling, Union Vale, Wappingers. The clock is also ticking for them to pick up Dover, which I think will happen within the year. The question we all have to ask our self is, all ambulance services provide the same thing and have a common interest, care, right?. I'm pretty sure they all share the common goal. However, how long will it take for an ambulance to get to the scene, is another question and a major factor in the overall picture.
  24. Agreed, you cant go wrong with HealthQuest benefits. Awesome package. TransCare's is something like $200+ every other week. That's a LOT
