Perhaps this is more appropriate for across the way, but, I'm wondering who ran (runs) Ford C model's. I know North White Plains runs twins, so does Pound Ridge. Who else? Thanks. -DA BUFF

Nice Photos!! Although I have to admit, the suction hose looks kinda weird, LOL. You know, Edgewater Park in New York has an Isuzu rig. -DA BUFF

I have two suggestions as a Midway Point- Perhaps New Rochelle (New Roc City) White Plains, or Mount Kisco? Any or all of those is easy for me to get to (via Metro-North.) P.S. If I could, I'd like to show my photos from the Nyack Chief's Inspection Parade. -DA BUFF

I think this counts as an Engine-Tanker: http://www.nefirenews.org/ne/EastFarmsCTET9.JPG Well, it's called an Engine-Tanker, anyway. Pumps 1500 gpm, carries 2000 gallons, 25 gallons of A and B Foam, and Hurst Tools. The town has a second one of these too. I don't have a photo of that one. Hope this helps. -DA BUFF

I did indeed notice that one Cap! I always wondered about that, especially because Johhny and Roy never had knee length coats. I think LA City FD still does that at non fires, like Technical Rescues. This is downright stupid. Regulation underwear? Maybe if the city was providing UnderArmour as a service, but, this is ridiculous, especially for $16,000. What is this, the QUeen of England's under things? And also, stripping down is a rarity, so far as I know. Them Canadians and their lack of strong unions..... (And if I'm wrong on that front, my apologies.) -DA BUFF

That is a nice floor design. Credit to the members and some fine tile work. Thanks for sharing! -DA BUFF

Obviously, I refer to the Bedford Hills Women's Prison in my title, LOL. I was just curious what other apparatus is run by both facilities. I know that Bedford Hills runs the old Engine 197 as Engine 263?. I was just wondering if Sing Sing had any rigs of their own. I take it also that the Fire Brigades there are run by cross trained Corrections Officers rather than inmates? Thanks. -DA BUFF

Hey Board. I really hate flying (I flew in 2005 for the first time in 5 years) and I'm lookin for recommendations on an Airline towards Jacksonville, FL (preferably, a direct flight.) I know Continental does directs from Newark, what's Newark Airport like/is there somebody who does it cheaper out of JFK or LaGuardia? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I prefer trains; I've done the train run to Florida round-trip twice. -DA BUFF

Well, now I'm not interested in Baseball, except who wins the Series, just because I'm something of a sports fan. Time to wait for next year. I really thought the Mets would do it. Hopefully, Steinbrenner will stop eviscerating the Yankees and Baseball will remember small ball and clutch hitting. Ah well. -DA BUFF

AND LET'S GO METS!!!! Bring a Title to New York for the first time in 6 years, and for the first time in 20 Years!

Any plans for the Old Mini-Attack 14? If I had the money, I wouldn't mean picking it up my self! -DA BUFF

LET'S GO METS! Since there are no Dodgers or Yankees to root for. Too bad the Dodgers ain't still DA BUMS in Brooklyn. They were when my Dad was a kid. And he goes back that far. So, LET'S GO METS! MEET THE METS! YOU CAN DO IT!

You're absolutely right, LFDR1. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear, I just meant that Amtraks run along that line. MNRR does indeed own the Right of Way. I'd also like to insert my own answer to the trivia Question, I say the Old Croton North Station. And It is Conrail under contract to the MTA. Before that, the New York Central. -DA BUFF

I concur in that one Res6cue, I'd add, Or anything else that moves! -DA BUFF

Nice Ride! I have one of those myself, except mine's a 40th Anniversary, the top goes down, and I've got 8 cylinders. But the new V-6 is much better than the old! Best of luck with it. You put a light in it, you'll be the new "Ford That Chases Porsches for a Living"! Enjoy her, Mustang Pride forever! -DA BUFF

Hello All. I'm new to the board but have enjoyed this site for a while. My question is if anybody knows of any old rescues still floating around the county or has any photos of them. I know of Ossining's old Ford that served as Rescue 14, the former North Tarrytown Rescue 12 that was a GMC, the Peterbilt? that served Eastchester. Any other good ones/interesting ones? Thanks. -DA BUFF

Semi off topic, but any plans for the old Engine 94? And while I'm on the subject, what happened to the old Ladder 40? Thanks. -DA BUFF, Who has some photos of Engines 92 and 93 and the new Tower Ladder here:http://firenews.org/ossiningparade.html
