  1. Anybody in Bravo Land Roadgeeks? I am. For anybody else who is: http://mryamamoto.topcities.com/pictmissio...ict_mission.htm Good site with New York Pics. http://mryamamoto.topcities.com/pictmissio...summa-index.htm And a nice vintage set of signs! Just wondering! And of course: Make your own signs Where you can make your own highway sign! Take Care and Stay Safe. -Joe DA BUFF
  2. From one Joe to another, let me see what I can do.... http://www.nycroads.com/crossings/ http://www.bostonroads.com/crossings/ http://kurumi.com/roads/ct/index.html Funny you should mention "Bridge-Geekery", I too am guilty of that in as much I like crossing NYC's Major Bridges on foot! I've crossed all the major walkable (there are a few that can't be walked, all of Mr. Moses' newer bridges" save 5. And they are on my list of things to do once the weather improves. Enjoy Joe. -Joe DA BUFF
  3. Awesome photos! Thanks for sharing. I especially like that Dozer and the Tower! And the International looks mighty capable! -Joe DA BUFF, who photographed some interesting rigs from Mass. DCR and Rhode Island DEM!
  4. I have to agree with Chris on this one. I originally was not in favor of the so-called Alpha Member system and voiced my concerns as such in that thread. That being said, it seems like the Alpha Member is working. I don't know why there should be a higher tier. Perhaps rather than that, Member of the Month? Bravo Commendations? Just my very humble two cents. -Joe DA BUFF P.S. My sincerest thanks to the new Mods for answering my questions so quickly.
  5. Looking good man all around! I like that distinctive Auburn Paint Scheme. -Joe DA BUFF
  6. I wonder if the bottom rig here isn't perhaps what was alluded to in this thread: http://fdnytrucks.com/files/html/specialunits/ems.htm No clue as to its function. -Joe DA BUFF
  7. NICE SETH! I'm keepin' it since I'm thinkin Green! -Joe DA BUFF
  8. Hey. Anybody in EMTBravo land Genesis Fans? I certainly am! After 17 years of hearing Phil Collins solo, I saw Genesis in concert in the 2007 Tour! They were bloody awesome! I'm hooked, I prefer the Phil era as I think he's a better vocalist than Peter Gabriel, but the music from the Peter Gabriel Era is pretty cool too, like "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway." I especially like "MAMA." Anybody else? Just curious! -Joe DA BUFF
  9. Lookin' good. COuldn't you see those trains pulling the refurbed CDOT Shoreline East Cars? Thanks for sharing! -Joe DA BUFF
  10. DOWN WITH HENDRICK (except the 88) and GO 43! -Joe DA BUFF
  11. Hey, I like BOTH! Like I said, I spent 17 years listening to Phil before I got into Genesis! My fave may be "Mama" and "Turn It On Again". Although, some of the older stuff is pretty awesome. The "Old Medley" on the tour was awesome, "I Know What I Like" is good, and of course, like I mentioned before, "Robbery, Assault and Battery" is pretty cool! I'm also trying to get into Eleventh Earl of Mar. I need to find a good cut. LOL. Here's to PHIL ERA GENESIS, but, also the awesomeness of Peter's Genesis too. -Joe DA BUFF
  12. Thanks Steve... The site had been non-functional the last time I logged on. P.S. Ossining hosts an AWESOME parade each year. -Joe DA BUFF
  13. Thanks Jack10562 for the prompt reply! I apologize that I did not provide a link, the links to N.Y.S. Laws are down right now! Most curious. Thanks again! -Joe DA BUFF
  14. Congrats new Moderators (especially Chris192 for my technical Q's last May about Sheriffs and the County Police). And thank you Promoted Moderators (DOC 22, wink wink) for everything! -Joe DA BUFF
  15. Question: How specific/formal do we need to be? For example, if I'm citing part Article 150 of the NYS Penal Code, do I have to write "NYS Penal Code 150.00", or can I just say Article 150, Section 00, or Article 65, Section 9 of the NYS ABC Law? Just asking. -Joe DA BUFF
  16. Nice shots there! -Joe DA BUFF

Hmm.... http://fdnytrucks.com/files/html/bronx/e38.htm This one probably, at the bottom. Or maybe this one: http://firenews.org/ct/HartfordCTL5.JPG Yes, that is a Pierce/Sutphen. And I'll leave it at that. -Joe DA BUFF
  19. Awesome shots here too! Looks like a job was going! Question: Do 63 and 39 ever go to jobs on McLean with Yonkers, if needed or does YFD have exclusive jurisdiction over there? Thanks! -Joe DA BUFF
  20. Awesome photos as usual Mr. TR54! When did Fairview go Chartreuse? -Joe DA BUFF

  24. That's what I heard too... I wonder though, could R-4 could be staffed full time with the right money? -Joe DA BUFF P.S. I like the old R-4. Very distinctive. But, I bet a new R-4 will be a good addition.
  25. Thanks for the clarification! -Joe DA BUFF
