Hey Remember585, you guys are going to replace E119 or as Seth calls it Squad 119. I was wondering with kind of rig are you going to replace it with a stanard pumper or a rescue pumper and what company are you guys going to go with.

If you have a Quint and you are going to replace it with a bigger ladder would also get a another Quint and what company would you go with.

what happened to Hawthorne ladder truck and don't they also have another engine too.

What tool beside the basic one should be on the Engine? I think that all hydrant hook up tools ahould be on this rig. Also if you have a wet vac and also some extra bottles and a couple of extra packs. The engine should also carry a couple of ladder no more then three ladders. What tool beside the basic one should be on the Ladder? I think that the ladder should carry all extraction tools and ventalation tools and also the ladder should be the FAST truck i feel. Also the ladder should have ropes and also techincal resuce equimpent that the department has that is if you do not have a resuce truck.

what new new things are seagrave coming out with

we are talking about new ladder truck that will replace a 75' Quint and looking at getting a bigger ladder truck such as a 100' ft truck and what are your suggestions

I just got the DVD FDNY Transmit the Box and it is great. The footage is really good and you can also hear the radio transmitions very well to. This is a very good training video too. Font color: I have to agree down in Ardsley, Dobbs, Elmsford, Hastings, Tarrytown, Harstadle, Greenville, Fairview, Irvington, and Sleepy thier are 5 bucket and word has it that Tarrytown is getting a tower or bucket. I mean that thier are to many buckets in a small area Ardsley, Irvington, Greenville, and Hastings all have sticks and Elmsford has both. If you buy a tower ladder the that means that you are setting up your department to be defensive department. Their a tower ladder is a great thing to have becuase when you do have to go to a defensive mode it is good to have. A stick is much more versital I feel. It can be used to be set up as a tripod for trench resuces also it can get through over head wires. As for the Quint issue a is avery good truck to have becaue it is a two in one turck it has a ladder and pump. I am a fan of the Quint but if i had to choose between a truck w/pump or a Quint iI would chosse the Truck. beacuse you more space to put truck company operation tools like saws, hooks, ladders, FAST team equipment, extraction tools, and also salvage stuff too. I know on are quint we can use more space becuse thier some thing that we don't have on the truck that we should.

How many departments have Utility trucks and what are they used for? I personally think that the county should issue a utility type vehicle to all fire departments. That one truck that can be used as a brush trucks and first responders truck and also, you could use it to plow in front of the stations. What do you guys think

That utility is a perfect example i was just a thought that the county should supply but if a department can not afford
