I found a page about getting the technical rescue certification on the OFPC website if this helps at all the little note at the top of the page says that NFPA sets all the standards for being a technical rescue tech.BUt there are other courses that you can take besides firefighter one to be able to take the class. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TECHNICAL RESCUE NOTE: All technical rescue courses are based on objectives from National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006 - Rescue Technician Professional Qualifications and 1670 - Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Rescue Incidents. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01-04-0032 Rescue Technician - Basic Provides a base from which to prepare students for a wide variety of possible rescue operations. And the tankers began filling from a hydrant near the Cortland Colonial.

  14. Congrats chief. Jim and I were confused wen they called the emtbravo member of the week to the chief's office and know I know who they were calling . Erin was convinced it was me though but I kept telling her it wasn't good job.
  15. I heard the ambulance get dispatched to the scene along with the medic for a person who was unconscious and unresponsive. I think they still might be there 9-1-1 was calling county car 4 a little while ago for a status report.
  16. At least you got the courtesy of a phone call I on the other hand was rudely awaken from the sound of the sirens on Lake Carmel's 17-2-3.
  17. I think that there is a New York State ems memorial I think it's in Albany. It's a tree with stars of life on it which have the names of the fallen ems workers written on them.
