  8. 93%... To be honest, I'm suprised i got that low!!! I think it was because I didn't know what SPAAMFAA meant.... (I do now, however!)
  9. For all you Westchester folk... if you ever need an ambulance when WCDES636 is working... DO NOT CALL IT A BUS!!! The reply you will recieve will be, "How Many Passengers?" And he's got a damn good point... I have grown to hate the term BUS for an ambulance because of him... The reason being, if you need an actual transit bus/school bus etc for rehab or transport... what do you ask for at that point?
  10. I had the pleasure of working with Tom on a few occasions when I was the Transcare Briarcliff EMT on Tuesdays. Tom is a great guy and will do a hell of a job as Bat 12. Funny story too.... I'm sure most of you know the trick to make your own pornstar name... Take your middle name and combine it with the street you grew up on... Well, my pornstar name just happens to be.. THOMAS FARRINGTON!!!!!!! LMAO

  15. In Croton, it's ambulance only, and hopefully a PD car is there. Same thing with Mamaroneck. When I worked in New Rochelle, however, an I-95 job, plain old medical, or MVA got 2 engines, rescue, d.c. and ambulance. Usually all but one engine was cancelled, but it was nice to know the support was there if needed.

  18. That's nutty... good thing to keep in mind. And also realize that if the Toyota Camry's B post is that thick, you can bet your bippie the Lexus ES350 is the same way.
  19. Seeing as the practical exams we're on saturday.. How'd you do?
  20. Well said Izzy, I couldn't have said it better myself!
  21. Just read about this vehicle fire in the 1st Responder Newspaper, but it's this picture that caught my attention. This was a vehicle fire at a gas station/mini-mart. The chief was 1st on scene, and started "attacking" ?? the fire with a dry-chem and NO PPE!!! I know it's said time and time again, but people still tend to do it... IT'S A FRIGGIN CAR!! Why breathe that garbage in and risk burns and other injuries for a car that is already going to be a total loss? Be safe out there, and for your own sake, wear PPE!
  22. Fortunatley, it was away from the pumps and the fuel tanks. PD removed the vehicles nearby to clear room for the engines. What really gets me is the magnesium burning... Those jeans and that sweater are gonna do a hell of a job protecting against that!
