I'm noticing a "self rescue" home ladder from the 3rd story of the home. Did the occupants use this to escape?
The rescue ladder was deployed by the crew doing overhaul in the attic....... Got to make sure you have a second way out LOL

Nice shots. Any explanation from the driver? EDP...stuck accelerator...DUI...too fast....road conditions....
or all of the above?
I don't know the final outcome... but from what I saw... possible DWI....

Here are some pictures I took at last Sunday's MVA w/Pin I/F/O 222 Main Street in Mt. Kisco. The man driving this pickup truck damaged approximately 10 parked vehicles on Green St and Main Street before he finally rolled his truck over in the middle of Main Street. Luckily there were no other people injured in this accident. Driver was transported to Westchester Medical Center as a precaution.

Jon.. you left out a very important detail... There are only 300 tickets... So anyone who makes a $100 donation, has a 1 in 300 chance of winning the big prize...

My only comment is.. discrete DOESN'T always = less $$$$ extra LED lights were added to this vehicle to make up for the lack of a lightbar..

Last I herd the strip is staying. Originally it was in the plans to be taken leveled, but if i understand correctly NWH does not own the entire stripThe strip of stores stays.. The hospital owes all the stores in the strip. The fish market on the corner, which is a separate builing is not owned by NWH.
Final Village approval is expected mid Febuary, if that occurs, construction fences go up around March 15th, shovel in the ground early April.

OK, this shows how out of the loop I am.1. Has Northern Westchester Hospital started construction on their new ER yet?
2. Has Phelps opened their new ER yet?
3. Has White Plains completed this new ER yet?
4. Will Sound Shore be redoing their ER?
5. Mount Vernon Hospital....nevermind
Northern Westchester Hospital hope to break gound in early April of this year..

Being a recreational boater myself, I was just curious what type of boat was it and how big?
Sounds like everyone on scene did an awesome job…

Check out www.ifco13.com for a few pictures of Mount Kisco's 2nd Alarm Fire from 1/28/08...
As for the Re-Kindle:
As common practice, the fire department removed from the building all the burnt and smoldering contents, which was mostly burnt furniture, since it was an antique shop. Well it turns out that the guys, who boarded up the building, either decided to, or were told to put all the burnt contents back in the building. So can you guess what the fire department found burning in the building when they were called back for the re-kindle?

You are correct about Mount Kisco Fire, as of 8am this morning, we are now using the trunk radio system (60 Fire 16) for all rig to rig or rig to county communication. The low band radios have been turned off.
-
Just an FYI Northern Westchester Hospital's ER has the trunk radio up and running. ER staff is monitoring it... A handful of ambulance have called in on it.. mostly Yorktown VAC....

Stamford's system you need to program the channels in the exact number slot in the program. If you split the system into two separate you need to make sure that th channel number is in the same numbered slot otherwise it wont work.Do you have ARC's program for the scanner, if so I can send you the file so you can see what I mean.
Thanks... I have the ARC 15 lite program.... So, if you could send that to me, that would be great..

bct15 is more like the 996, very hard to progam with out a computer. Are you using a software program to do the programming?
If not you need to create a new system and then a new site.
It will be a pain to do it from the radio.
Im using the Butel ARC 15 Lite Software. I've programmed stamford before in my other scanners, so I know how it suppoed to work, but for some reason, I dont hear them. I'm sure it one stupid little check box or something like that. So, got any ideas?

Has anyone programmed the new Uniden BCT15 Scanner to listen to Stamford's EDACS radio system and got it to work? I thought I programmed it just as I did in my old BC785, but I dont hear anything in Stamford, but if I bring the old scanner with me, I can listen to them.... HELP.... Thanks Eric

THe New Engine 106 is a 10 man cab. It carrys 1000 gallons of water and 60 gallons of foam. In the cab there is an LCD control screen. When the parking brake is released and someone has not buckled there seat belt, an alarm goes off and a diagram of the cab comes up and it showes you which seats are occupied and not buckled up. The Engine can still be driving, but let me tell you thet alarm that does off will drive you nuts... Oh and yes, the Engine has rollover side airbags too..
Check out www.ifco13.com for additional pictures of the new Engine etc

Is there anyone out there that knows for sure if millwood is in north I am getting a highband portable and want to make sure I program the right zone in itA standard UHF Portable will not work... You need a UHF Portable that is capable of being programed for Motorola Type II Trunking system.. which will cost you about $3000 for one radio. And from what I hear... The county with this trunking system has the ability to control what radios use the system, so if they dont give you access.. it isnt going to work.. I guess they want to control who has access to this new system.... Just an FYI....
