  2. are EMS CFR runs included? becuase when I add up the numbers of OSWs and EMS, it excedes the total number of runs...????
  3. how is GPD EMS set up? I know they have POs/EMTs on some buses, but I think there is also an ALS bus, along with ALS PD flycars....

  10. reading #4 on the top 10 got me thinking: for a call at say, 5:50pm, does FDNY send the day crew or the night crew? and then if the day crew is sent, does the night crew rotate in later on or do they wait at the house?

  12. Des anyone know if the proposed ALS-FR would be ambulances or more like fly-cars? I believe FDNY had looked into using "paramedic response vehicles" in the past (1997?) but they dropped the plan.

    I know that the buses that are operated by PO/EMTs do say police on the hood. The fly-cars say the same things. I have seen people pulled over by the fly-cars and once called GPD and an ambulance, driven by a PO/EMT responded. The PD rigs do say POLICE on the front, sides and back. So I guess that they would be liable in court becuase POLICE is on the front, although I would hope that somewho is not from the area would get cut some slack.
