When is the wetdown going to be?

We don't do "Wetdown's" in the traditional sense, so it'll be a "dedication", "drydown" or some other term. From what I heard I think the plan is mid-August. We are still awaiting the completion of Engine 62-11 which is also getting close to delivery. So it'll be a triple dedication of Tower (62-45), Engine (62-11) and 2006 Ford Expedition (62-2) which recently went into service.

Please let me know when the wet down is. My step father Pete Bona would like to know, and get some pictures of the new truck and all of his freinds around the fire house. You can also get me at ccbub31@aol.com, Bubby, 914-497-5385, Thanks

Looks great! I'd like to get some pics of it as well, at some point, regardless of event.

This would be the first with the inverted "V" stripes. It also has an arrowstick split across the back.

I see where the new engine has also arrived. Looks very nice.

Has any kind of dedication or anything been set yet? Or, is there going to be one? If not, what parade(s) might these vehicles be involved in this summer?

Your problem is that your trucks don't get enough sun. Leave Your trucks out in the sun for a while maybe they will ripen and at least turn yellow, but you gotta leave them out in the sun for a real long time for them to turn red. :D:D

Nah the problem with the Points rigs (Verplanck FD) is that they don't get out much at all, so seeing some sun is outta the question!

Before anyone gets all huffy, that was just a dig to my brothers from the point, especially those O'Brien boys!

Ya know i had to mess with ya Tommy boy! :)

Oh yeah, and by the way, Rombouts Truck looks sweet! I kinda like their color scheme, especially because it has some tradition behind it! Best of luck to Rombout FD with the new Truck!

The Date of the non-aqueous Wetdown, Drydown, Dedication, or anything else you can think of without water will be August 19th. Mark your calender's. 1300hrs to 1900hrs. Rombout Fire District Headquarters, 901 Main Street, Fishkill NY
