That video is easier to watch with the sound off!

Did the 2nd Engine hit that parked car? I heard the "Whoa" from in the cab...

Sure did look like he hit the car. :o

If so, at least they didn't have to go very far to get a Police Report.... :D

On that call there was no collision. Part of being an apparatus driver/operator in the oldest part of the country is navigating 400-year-old streets that are clogged with 400-ton SUV's and people parked 400 feet from the curb. Yesterday I drove Ladder 26 out of the Locust Ave Firehouse for my first time, and let me tell you making the right turn onto Purchase Street is about 75% skill and 25% hoping people get out of your way!

Steve, You have to put the pressure on your Dad to get some double yellow lines on both Locust and Purchase streets - even if just like 12 feet out from the intersection. Cars are all over the place without it. You think the Right turn is bad, wait till you do the LEFT onto Purchase from 26's bay.

Where's the "Q"??? :D

Both of Ryes ladders do not have the Q but the new Ladder 25 has the electronic Q. They both have really small bumpers.
