First Ambulance I've Seen On The New Ford E-Series Chasis (Norwalk Hospital)

11 posts in this topic

I don't know about you guys, but this is the first ambulance I have seen on the new Ford E-Series chasis, and just as I thought, it looks SICK!

Norwalk (CT) Hospital EMS has taken delivery of this 2008 Ford E-450 (Diesel)/1999 Lifeline Superliner remount (the module is from the old 402)

Sorry about the lighting, I hope to get better shots in the next couple of weeks.

For now, check out the Spy Shots here:

Even on a rig, I can't stand the new look on the Ford's.

Give it a chance and it will grow on you like the Pierce Quantum and the new velocity.

Also blame the US Federal Government and the EPA for making such harsh fuel requirements for the engiine sizes

Alex, we got it monday night. It is in the process of having the radios installed today and tomorrow. I am heading over there tomorrow to take detailed pics of it for mike to put on the web site.

Kind of funny, but it looks like something matchbox or hot wheels would come up with...

I'll never grow used to those hideous things.
