City Of New Rochelle Spare Engine 273

8 posts in this topic

I don't know if many people are aware of this, when I took the photo back in December, it's the first I saw of it. They use it as a spare Engine (/tease)

Does anyone know who is responsible for this very unique, very creative piece? Whoever it is, AWESOME work!

It was built in house by members of U.F.F.A. Local "273". It started out as lets see what we can do, to what you see with working lights, siren and air horn. Spare parts that were around the shop were put to use. Hand made wooden ladder was placed on the officers side of the rig. "273" tops out at about 12 MPH (down hill).

If you read the previous posts it was stated that it was put together by members of U.F.F.A #273 of the International Fire Fighters Association.
